February 18, 2020 in the history of Russian medicine, as the day when a new epoch began. The epoch of the neural network revolution, the epoch of artificial intelligence. On this day, The Department of health of Moscow city (DHM)
announced the acceptance of applications for participation in an experiment on the use of innovative technologies in the field of computer vision for the analysis of medical images and further application in the healthcare system.
It took the developers several months LLC «FtizisBioMed» together with the DHM, to go from the beginning to the end of the difficult path of trial and error in the integration and unification of hardware and software interfaces.
And July 27, 2020, as part of the Experiment, the service for automated analysis of fluorographic images of FBM produced by LLC «FtizisBioMed» the first few dozen studies of images received from medical institutions of the city of Moscow in real time.
The results of the analyses' were sent to the unified radiological information service (ERIS) in Moscow-City and instantly presented to doctors, directly performed radiographic examination of real patients.
Thus, the time spent from shooting the patient on a digital fluorograph to the preliminary diagnosis in the framework of the so-called first reading, did not exceed a few seconds.
